這和聖父創造(create)了人有何不同，為何人沒有聖父的essence，若有的話，那麼人不也是上帝嗎？

而這些文章也被第一次大公會議所接受，為了使人們能夠更清楚地了解聖子和聖父是等價的，
他們宣布，聖子是從聖父的本質而來的，並非從世上產生的；
到第二次大公會議的時候，這個概念變的更加容易理解，
所以在尼西亞信經裡，我們說：「我們信惟一的主耶穌基督，上帝 的獨生子，萬世之前，由父所生。
出自光明的光明，出自真上帝的真上帝。受生而非受造，與父同性同體，萬物是由祂所造的。」）

這就是最後的答案（一切是從「無」之中創造出來的，後來的拉丁文稱為ex nihiko，也就是無中生有的意思），
這答案也說明了上帝（聖父，聖子，聖靈）如何存在。

在「聖靈」裡，藉著「聖子」，「聖父」創建了 與他自己不同的事物
（這完全是出於自願，也出於愛，沒有任何的條件，這完全是出於自由意志），而這就是 「創造」。

世界和上帝雖然有所不同，卻有相同的「目的」。
這是世界，為了要繼續存活下去，最終必須與上帝「結合」在一起，
我的意思並不是說，世界必須與上帝「混和」 在一起，
而是說，應該將我們的世界奉獻給上帝（出於自由而非強迫）。
人類將成為整個宇宙的祭司，將整個宇宙獻給上帝，這是人類的使命。
這也是我們在聖禮儀 中所做的，上帝接受我們的奉獻，並回報我們聖子的肉體。

在神學上，我們將「上帝之子」稱為 「logos」，這個希臘字代表了原理、理性、思想、言語…等意義，
而許多的中國人將之翻譯成「道」。
光是約翰福音第一章第一節，就有以下三種的翻譯版本：

在起初已有「聖言」，「聖言」與天主同在，「聖言」就是天主。

太初有「道」，「道」與神同在，「道」就是神。

起 初有「道」，「道」與上帝同在，「道」是上帝之真體。

在希臘人的想法裡，每一個受造物，都有他的「原因」或是「logos」
（例如：在英 文當中，生物學是bio-logy，心臟學是cardio-logy， 而這些字的字尾 -logy就是希臘文的logos）
因此，所有的受造物共同的原理都與「logos」（聖子）有關。
而在受造物的內部，與其存在最深層的原理，就是 「logos」（聖子），
而「logos」就像是一個隱藏的封印一樣，不被人所見。

而神聖的人，就可以擊破表象，看到這個封印。

「凡受造之物都熱切地等待天主子女的顯揚。」（羅馬書 8:19）

「因為我們知道，直到如今，一切受造之物都一同歎息，同受產痛。」（羅馬書 8:22）

It is the question of the ancient Greek philosophers, and i guess you like philosophy and you already know the answer.

Your question helps us to make clear that that the Father DID NOT created the Son, BUT GIVES BIRTH and PROCEEDS the Holy spirit .

Created means something that does not exist and after some time exists.

The Father gives life to the Son, does not mean that it was not time that the Son did not exist. The Father is the reason of the Son , but it was never WITHOUT the
Son. your question is very correct, because if the universe has the essence of god, then THE UNIVERSE IS GOD, AND IS NOT CREATED.

For the ancient Greeks, and the Easter philosophy, God can not create anything from zero. Everything exists, God is the decorator, takes matter and gives shapes, makes starts
, suns, etc... FROM THE MATTER WHICH ALWAYS EXISTS.

This is the essence in the ancient greek thought.

But the God who is the Father, of the Son, does not create the world from his essence. If you read carefully the books we have translated about the trinity, specially the second
volume in the website, this subject is analyzed a lot .

God is not 4 things ,1. Father, 2. Son, 3. Holy spirit and 4. essence.

Is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, this is how he reveals Himself to us.

Here is the difficulty of the ancient philosophers to accept Christianity. Because for greeks you cannot create from zero. Plotinus , combining different resources , dives
a similar example:God is like a glass of water, the glass is full of water, then OVERFOLOWS, THE WATER COMES OUT, this is the creation, the water is the essence, and of cource the universe has
the essence of god.

so the real question is reformulated like this. God created man from the earth. but from what did He create the earth? did he use some other pre-existing matter? the answer is no, from nothing.

then the question is how he created the world?God created the world because of his free will, NOT FROM HIS ESSENCE.

(because of the of the greek philosophical ideas, st Athanasious wrote a lot and the the 1rst ecumenical council , accepted in order , to make people to understand
better that the Son is equal to the Father, they say that the Son is from Father’s essence, not the world, but in the 2nd ecumenical council this become more clear, and so in the creed we sayAnd in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages. Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not created, of one essence with the Father, through whom all things were made.

This is the exact answer. (the creation from zero, ex nihiko in latin, is later). which means that God (Father SON, HOLY-SPIRIT).

The Father, by the Son in the Holy Spirit, makes something different from Him, (because of love, and without any need, just freely) and this is the creation.

Different but with some purpose. This world finally ,in order to survive, must be united, NOT MIXED with God. To be OFFERED (frelly not by force) TO god.(This is the job of human beings as PRIESTS OF THE UNIVERSE, this is what we do in the liturgy, where God accepts our offering
and returns us back as the flesh of His Son)

But you may ask, if god created the world from his will, then what is his will? It is the essence? Of course not. Is it the thoughts of god, and when exactly god had this thought?

You will find a lot about this in our articles about holy trinity. But you gime the opportunity to remind you the theology of st. Maximus the confessor. Who gives the answer.

In god there is not time, there is not before and after, as it is for us..

So God, free of time constrains, we the human beings would say, God always wanted to create the universe. But god did not created the universe automatically, but in time, progressive.
(because you would ask, in that case that the God and the world co-exist, they always exist together)

So Maximus distinguishes the thought of God, the will of God and the activation of this will which is in time, progressive (god created in 6 periods
or days etc...)

The thought of God , of the father in theology, is not some brain activity, like our thoughts. The theology calls the Son of God Logos, the greek word for
reasoning , thought, speech, which many Chinese translate as 道.

太初有道、道與　神同在、道就是　神。

起初有 道，道與上帝同在，道是上帝之真體。

Every creature has its reason or logos in greek (we say bio -logy cardio-logy, etc... this -logy is Greek logos) , and the reasons all the , of all the creatures together
have relation with the Logos , the Son of God, the inner , deeper reason of their existence, something like a hidden seal a stamp, on them is the Logos the Son of the Father.

The holy people can fell this seal.

KJG 羅馬書 Romans 8:19

凡受造之物都熱切地等待天主子女的顯揚，

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
